- Smart watch events: watch-triggered SOS/help events and related metadata (for example, watch type, event type, confidence flags, and timestamps).
2. AccessibilityService Use (Android)
Crutch uses Android AccessibilityService only for optional safety features,
such as detecting configured emergency trigger interactions (for example, hardware key interactions)
to help activate SOS workflows.
- This feature is optional and can be declined.
- You can disable AccessibilityService at any time in Android Accessibility settings.
- Accessibility-derived data is not used for advertising and is not sold.
- Crutch does not use AccessibilityService to read unrelated screen content or harvest typed text for advertising purposes.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide core safety features including SOS, check-ins, trusted-contact notifications, and family group workflows.
- Support smart watch and phone safety integrations.
- Improve app reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where required by law, we process personal information based on one or more of the following: your consent, performance of a contract (providing app services), legitimate interests (security/reliability), and legal obligations.
